Biography

Board certified surgeon, Dr. Elizabeth Lee specializes in general and vascular surgery with an emphasis on breast surgery.  She enjoys the practice of surgery and considers it an honor to participate in the patient-doctor relationship.  She empowers and educates her patients on their health journey.  

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degree from UCLA.  She graduated with honors, double majoring in biology and psychology.  She earned her medical degree from George Washington University, School of Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles.   

She developed her private practice office in Arcadia, California and her main hospital affliation is at Methodist Hospital of Southern California now USC Arcadia.  She has been the Medical Director of the USC Arcadia/ Methodist Hospital Wound and Hyperbaric Oxygen Center since 2000.  She was the Chief of Staff overseeing the entire Medical Staff  in 2022 which was the transition year from Methodist Hospital to USC Arcadia Hospital.

She has been involved in multiple leadership positions including Chair  of Surgery, Chair of General Surgery /Vascular Surgery, and Cancer Committee Liason physician.

When she is not in the clinic or in surgery, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, hiking, and watching movies.
